Public Power Corporation (PPC), the largest energy company in Greece, and which took over the main Romanian operations of the Italians from Enel, concluded the transaction by which it also takes over from the Russian group Lukoil the wind farm owned by it in Romania.

The Greek renewable energy division, PPC Renewables SA, previously signed an agreement with the European subsidiaries of Lukoil for the purchase of 100 percent of the capital of the Romanian company Land Power SRL, which operates the Dorobanțu-Topolog wind power plant in Tulcea county, with total installed capacity of 84 MW.

The park is located in the region with the best wind conditions in Romania and produces over 200 GWh of electricity per year. The plant occupies a total area of 470 hectares of land. The park was commissioned in 2014, and its first full year of operation was 2015.
