Penta Investments, a Central European investment group has strengthened its position in Poland after ten years in the market. Its portfolio in CEE's largest market currently includes 10 investment projects, including: Empik Group, Iglotex, EMC Instytut Medyczny, Prywatna Lecznica Certus, Learning Systems Poland, which operates the Speak Up language school network, Clar Systems as well as the Polish branches of the Dr.Max pharmacy chain and the Fortuna Entertainment Group betting network. In Poland, Penta is also active as a developer on the office market, with two assets in its portfolio at the moment: the D48 office building in Warsaw and another office project, now in preparation, in Warsaw's Wola district.
"We are very satisfied with the development of our investment portfolio in Poland. Good results mean that the share of the Polish portfolio in the entire group increased and amounted to around 17 percent. At the same time, Poland accounts for one-third of all jobs in Penta's portfolio companies,” said Łukasz Waszak, Head of Penta Investments in Poland. “We are interested in the further development of all key Polish investments and in searching for new projects," adds Łukasz Waszak.
