One United Properties brings The Hoxton brand to the center of Bucharest

Real estate developer One United Properties has signed an exclusive contract with Ennismore to bring The Hoxton hotel brand to the One Downtown project, next to the Odeon Theater in Bucharest.

The move comes shortly after One United Properties signed a deal with Ennismore that will bring the 5-star Mondrian Hotel to the project formerly known as One Plaza Athénée, next to the Romanian Athenaeum.

“We have signed an exclusivity deal with Ennismore to bring The Hoxton brand. We are working on the design of the project, after which the authorization follows. We don't know yet if the hotel will be classified as 3 or 5 stars, but the Hoxton brand is a lifestyle brand. This concept is more attractive especially for the younger generations," announced Victor Căpitanu, Co-CEO of One United Properties.

The new hotel brand will be placed on the One Downtown project, which will result from the restoration of the 3 historic buildings bought by One United in 2022 for EUR 3.73 million. The development of the One Downtown project is estimated at EUR 35 million.
