Nofar Energy received authorization for the project to build a photovoltaic park that will be located in the village of Vadu Stanchii, part of the commune of Corbii Mari in Dâmbovița county. The Romanian company that prepared and owns the project, and now also has an establishment permit, was acquired at the end of last year by Nofar Energy from the real estate developer Portland Trust of the British businessman Robert Neale.

The Corbii Mari photovoltaic park is thought to have a total installed power of over 250 MW, which means that, if operational, it would be the largest in Romania. The Corbii Mari photovoltaic park will occupy a total area of 290 hectares.
