Romanian distributor of household appliances and home electronics has renewed its lease contract for more than 8,100 sqm of space at the MLP Bucharest West logistics park.

Marelvi, one of the first tenants in the complex situated near Romania’s capital, in a major warehouse hub in the country, has signed a contract with MLP Group to renew its lease of 8,100 sqm of modern space at MLP Bucharest West. The company has occupied logistics and office space at the park for nearly five years now.

Established in 1995, Marelvi is wholly owned by Romanian investors. Its distribution operations commenced in 2000, and by 2007, it had become Romania’s leading distributor of household appliances and home electronics. Marelvi works with top brands in Romania’s distribution sector, serving over 200 clients, including names like Arctic, Samsung, Daewoo and Toshiba.

‘We aim to provide tenants with attractive warehouse and office space that meets their specific needs in terms of functionality. Renewing our collaboration with any client is always a significant milestone confirming the successful pursuit of our goals. We invest in modern solutions, prioritising functionality, and it pays off. We are delighted that Marelvi will continue to use our space,’ noted Olga Melihov, Country Head Romania at MLP Group S.A.

‘We are pleased to renew our lease contract at the MLP Bucharest West logistics park. We highly value the excellent quality of the space and the successful collaboration we’ve had in the past. That’s why we’ve chosen to remain here for longer. The location near Bucharest’s ring road is vital to us, enabling us to conduct efficient business operations within the Bucharest metropolitan area, but also across the country,’ said Daniela Bizgan, General Manager of Marelvi.

Situated within Romania’s most popular warehouse hub, at the ring road in Bucharest’s north-western district of Chitila, MLP Bucharest West is an ideal location for distribution and logistics operations. It is a Class A industrial and logistics development on an 18.3 ha plot that will eventually provide 99,000 sqm of warehouse space, with numerous amenities and excellent road infrastructure. The facilities at the MLP Bucharest West park meet the highest environmental standards and are BREEAM certified.
