Belgrade’s iconic Hotel Jugoslavija was sold for around EUR 27 million, to MV Investment, a daughter company of Millenium Team. The hotel was sold within the framework of bankruptcy proceedings against Danube Riverside.

After the purchase of the hotel, Millennium Team announced that they had initiated changes to the detailed regulation plan so that they can build a modern residential and business complex with a high-class hotel. The planned total investment in the next four years is some EUR 400 million.

Hotel Jugoslavija is located on the promenade in New Belgrade, a Belgrade municipality, next to the Danube. The hotel was officially opened in July 1969. Designed by Ladislav Horvat in 1947, construction was stopped but then continued in 1961.
