CIAK acquires LKQ's Slovenian and Bosnian units

Croatian car parts distributor CIAK Grupa said its unit C.I.A.K. Auto has agreed to acquire two companies, Slovenian STAHLGRUBER Trgovina and SIM IMPEX from Bosnia’s Serb Republic, both part of US car parts distributor LKQ Corp.'s subsidiary LKQ Europe.

The transaction involving STAHLGRUBER Trgovina has been completed, while the transaction involving SIM IMPEX from Banja Luka remains subject to approval by the responsible authorities. The financial details were not disclosed.

CIAK specialises in the distribution of car parts, car batteries and motor oils; waste management and recycling; and wholesale.
