The General Mayor of the Capital, Nicuşor Dan, stated that steps have been taken to consolidate more than 150 buildings classified as seismic risk class I, noting that money is already being attracted through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan and from national funds.

At the same time, the Capital City Hall begins the preliminary assessment of buildings from the point of view of seismic risk, over 8,000 buildings are going to enter this program, in order to establish the order of expertise and later their consolidation.

"We have more than 150 buildings for which we have started the steps, which are complicated, we have to have an agreement with the owners' association, we have to do an acquisition procedure and we already have RON 300 million from PNRR, from national funds – RON 600 million. In time, you will see all these buildings entering the consolidation process," said the general mayor.
