Five new warehouses to be built for Skoda Auto's Kvasniny plant

The plan for expanding the Kvasiny na Rychnovska industrial zone where Škoda Auto produces some of its cars is beginning to take take shape. The daily E15 reports that according to a newly submitted EIA proposal, five new logistics and storage buildings are to be built at the site for use by suppliers of the Czech automobile manufacturer. The Hradec Kralove region is expected to contribute CZK 600m to the construction of the new buildings, while an additional CZK 3.5bn will be invested into related transportation projects. At the moment, 12,000 people work in the industrial zone, 75 percent of which are employed by Škoda Auto directly.
