Decerto has moved into a new office in Warsaw's Lumen building. The interior design of the new office in the city centre was developed by Bit Creative studio in collaboration with the Workplaces department at Globalworth Poland, the building's owner and manager.

Decerto has joined the tenants of the Lumen building, on Złota Street in Warsaw. It is a Polish high-tech company specialising in providing solutions for the insurance and financial industries. Among other things, it offers proprietary software for the work of insurance agents (Agent Portal), or a business rules engine (Higson) for companies that value efficiency and flexibility.

Due to its dynamic growth, the company decided to move to a larger office in one of the capital's most recognisable buildings. Excellent communication with the rest of the city, as well as numerous amenities, both in the building and in its vicinity, determined the choice of the Lumen office building for the new headquarters. Decerto has taken over 1,000 sq m of modern office space at Lumen. An additional advantage of the new premises is the view over the centre of Warsaw.

"Acquiring a tenant representing the IT market, well versed in trends and innovative technological solutions, is the best confirmation of the quality of the Lumen building and the services we offer. Our building is not only a modern office space, it is also a strategic location. Its friendly surroundings and proximity to cultural and service outlets create the perfect conditions for working and thus developing business activities. The new headquarters in a prestigious location will certainly strengthen the company's image on the market," says Agnieszka Głuchowska Asset Management & Leasing Manager, at Globalworth Poland.

"The new office was created in response to the changing structure of the company, the modern way it is managed and the needs of its employees. The project was carried out in the Design & Build formula so as to deliver ready-to-use space to the Tenant as soon as possible," says Joanna Liberadzka Workplaces Project Manager, at Globalworth Poland.

In the immediate vicinity of the kitchen, users have a chillout area, equipped with a pool table or darts. It is a space where employees can have lunch or coffee, but also organise informal meetings.

At the fit-out stage of the space, the choice of building materials and raw materials was also important, such as copper, concrete and elements in black, which allude to the loft style. Thanks to the involvement of the tenant and the specialists from Workplaces at Globalworth, a perfectly planned space was created that supports the creativity and collaboration of Decerto's employees.

"When opening the new office, we adapted it to a hybrid working model. We have ditched the open-space area in favour of enclosed and quiet team rooms. The office has many spaces and tools adapted for teleconferences and remote meetings. When designing the office, we wanted to give employees a space for relaxation and integration. Therefore, a very large chillroom was prepared especially for this purpose, which serves as a dining room, café and entertainment loungeThe office was designed in the style of an elegant loft and is very well lit with natural light," comments Janusz Januszkiewicz, founder of Decerto.

The consultancy agency JLL represented Decerto in selecting the best building and negotiating the terms of the contract.

"The relocation of Decerto's office is another example that fits in with a clear trend among office tenants, namely ‘flight to quality’. The cost of an office is still important, but among the selection criteria, the higher standard of the building, the guarantee of modern technological solutions, excellent accessibility by public transport or the amenities in the immediate vicinity are becoming increasingly important. These factors ensure that the office is more likely to be visited," explains Jakub Sylwestrowicz, Head of Tenant Representation at JLL.

The Skylight and Lumen buildings are among the most well-known and prestigious office buildings in Warsaw, offering comfortable space that meets the needs of the most demanding companies. Tenants appreciate their location in the city centre and direct proximity to the Złote Tarasy shopping mall. Both buildings were included in Globalworth's portfolio in 2018.

The Skylight & Lumen complex has been developed in line with sustainable construction principles, has a BREEAM certification of ‘Excellent’ and a WELL Health & Safety 2022 certificate, and offers a total of more than 49,000 sq m of comfortable office space. The buildings are characterised by their excellent location in the heart of the Central Business District, which guarantees proximity to public transport, the Warszawa Centralna railway station and a wealth of business, hotel, entertainment and cultural facilities.
