AFI Europe is planning to buy NEPI Rockcastle’s Romanian office portfolio, which has an estimated worth of about €309m, according to local news reports. AFI has signed a letter of intent and will begin due diligence of the four office buildings before finalizing the sale, which would make AFi the second biggest office landlord in Romania behind Globalworth. The NEPI portfolio includes Floreasca Business Park, City Business Centre Timisoara, The Lakeview Bucharest and Victoriei Offices. A fifth property, The Office in Cluj-Napoca, was acquired by Dedeman for €120m. The asset was co-owned by Ovidiu Sandor.
