Poland’s total warehouse and industrial stock reached 17.6 million sqm during the first nine months of the year, according to Savills. The largest volume of logistics space is under construction in Warsaw and its suburbs, Wrocław and Upper Silesia. At the end of September, 1.8 million sqm were underway, down 13 percent y-o-y. Leasing volume hit 2.7 million sqm on the Polish warehouse and industrial market in the first three quarters. About a third of that total was transacted in Warsaw and its suburbs. The largest lease deal in the third quarter was signed by Raben with Prologis for a 50,000 sqm operational facility to be developed in Ruda Śląska.
