Katowice’s total office stock reaches 528,000 sqm

Katowice’s total office stock grew 10 percent over the year to nearly 528,000 sqm at the end of H1, according to the latest Cresa report. The cumulative annual growth rate for the last five years topped 10 percent. In the first half of 2019, two office projects were completed: Bracka 28 (2,320 sqm) and Bracka 28A (6,070 sqm), both developed by Opal. Total office take-up amounted to 29,804 sqm during the six-month period, up by nearly 25 percent y-o-y. Leasing activity was dominated by new agreements (46 percent) and renegotiations (43 percent). The largest deals included the renegotiation of Unilever’s 7,300 sqm at Nowe Katowickie Centrum Biznesu, Perform Group’s 6,400 sqm at Face2Face Business Campus and the renegotiation of Capgemini’s 5,700 sqm at Atrium, according to Cresa.
