PepsiCo's newest central warehouse within the P3 Mszczonów park is not only the largest warehouse in PepsiCo’s distribution network but also the largest facility of this type completed in Poland in the first quarter of this year. The facility offers 58,000 sqm which allows for storing about 60,000 pallets at any one time. The construction process of PepsiCo's central warehouse began in May 2019 and lasted eight months. The height of the building right up to the base of the roof structure is 12 meters, which allows for the easy storage of goods whose height is up to 11.5 meters. The P3 park has comprehensively adapted the building to the client's needs and its logistics operations. The building has 103 docks, including four "zero ramps,” for loading and unloading goods and has a 24-meter-deep column-free side zone which provides a space for loading or unloading operations. Additionally, the facility has been equipped with a QLoader system, which allows for automatic loading of pallets, reducing the process time and minimizing costs. Moreover, a number of innovative solutions have been applied inside the warehouse, including a fully automated device which enables foiling of post-production pallets as well as mobile and stationary wrapping machines to secure the stored goods.
