Alitalia has finally confirmed that it will be renewing service to Prague, but this won't happen until September 1. The airline has reserved an Airbus A320 to handled flights from Rome and has already put tickets for the flights on sale. The decision took considerably longer than it did Ryanair and ČSA. It means that the Vaclav Havel Airport Prague has confirmed flights to 80 destinations, of which 63 are currently on offer from 25 airlines. Last week, Turkish Airlines got flights to Istanbul running again, while British Airways renewed service to Heathrow. The first long haul flights are also coming back online, including connections to Doha with Qatar Airways, while Emirates planes from Dubai should begin arriving in August.
