The airline industry is still recovering from the shock of the coronavirus and the number of tickets now being sold on a daily basis to Czechs just half of what it was a year ago. Still, the the number is growing nearly 20 percent per week, according to the Czech News Agency. For the moment, Czechs appear to be thinking only short-term about their vacations, as the most popular destinations are Greece, Italy and Spain. Great Britain follows them, but it's always been among the top places people fly. Czechs are also not buying tickets so far in advance now, on average just 21 days before flying. CTK reports that the average price of tickets has fallen to CZK 6,250, which is CZK 3,000 less than before.
