Zorka Keramika is planning to expand its production capacities in Serbia and employ more people. The company, one of the biggest manufacturers of ceramic tiles in the country, will invest €15m in its plant in Sabac, western Serbia. An Austrian consortium bought Zorka Keramika in 2004 as well as the brick producer Zorka Opeka. Currently, 300 people work at the tile pant, while 60 people are employed at the brick factory. About 50 percent of products are exported to Slovakia, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Bosnia, Montenegro and Macedonia.
