The World Bank will provide €61m to finance a project that will interconnect electric energy networks between Moldova and Romania. The project will include extending the station from Vulcanesti in southern Moldova, modernizing the Chisinau station and building the Vulcanesti-Chisinau overhead power line. Government officials say the project will help optimize the transport of electric energy, supplying residents with “high-quality services.”
