A new scheme called Wave Resort will be built near Aheloy in Bulgaria. The complex will be located 500 meters from the Aheloy camping complex, with completion planned for next summer. The investor, Aheloy Project, will invest €30m in this project one of the largest along the coast. The 41,000 sqm complex will offer 425 accommodation units for 1,000 tourists, including 14 indoor and outdoor swimming pools, five restaurants, an amphitheater, a conference center with a capacity of 400 seats, as well as a spa and wellness center with healing mud cures (taken from the nearby lake Pomorie). The company expects the majority of its clients will come from Germany, Russia and the UK.
