Waterway Capital pays $30m for offices in Westport, CT

Waterway Capital has paid just over $30 million for 8 & 10 Wright Street, a Class A office complex in Westport, Conn. Consisting of two office buildings, the 83,964 sqf are currently 94-percent leased. Tenants include UBS, Regus Corporation, Berkowitz, Trager & Trager, Energy Income Partners and Ameriprise Financial. CBRE’s Institutional Properties Group represented the seller, Marcus Partners, along with procuring the buyer. “Westport attracts many financial institutions and wealth management offices due to the high net worth clientele in the area,” said Jeffery Dunne of CBRE. “Westport’s office market should continue to benefit from this, which bodes well for Waterway’s investment.”
