Warsaw’s total office take-up down 17% in first half of 2020

Over the last six months, 335,000 sqm of office space was leased in Warsaw, down 17 percent y-o-y, according to JLL. The largest transactions of H1 included PZU’s 46,500 sqm prelease at Generation Park Y, a 20,000 sqm sale-and-leaseback deal by DSV in Mokotow and a renewal and expansion by Poczta Polska, which is now occupies 19,800 sqm at Domaniewska Office Hub. The vacancy rate increased in the first half of 2020 to 7.9 percent in Warsaw: 5 percent in central zones and 9.8 percent in non-central zones, up 0.1 percent compared with the end of 2019 and 0.4 percent higher q-o-q, according to JLL.
