The hotel complex Nais has opened in southern Serbia near Nis on Corridor 10. Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic attended the opening ceremony, where he said that Nais occupies a key communications junction in the country. “By demolishing one system and treating social property as Alaybeg's straw, we closed one facility in 2012. This is the 11th hotel or hotel complex that I've opened in Serbia, but Nais probably occupies the most important and significant place on the territory of our entire country…", he said. "We are also starting work on the third highway branch from Nis to Prokuplje, Kursumlija, Merdar, Pristina and Gracanica. This is of great importance to us and why Nais's position is of great importance for our country” said Vucic.
The renovated property will operate as a 4-star hotel following the €10m investment. It offers 230 beds, a restaurant for 250 guests, conference space for 650 people, along with a wellness center. A small aquapark with indoor and outdoor pools will be added by next summer.
