VOSS Automotive to invest €15m in Bulgarian plant

VOSS Automotive will invest €15m to develop a new production facility in Lovech, near the village of Bahovitsa in central Bulgaria. The German company has leased 12,225 sqm in the city’s industrial zone that was previously used by a Chinese automobile manufacturer. VOSS will manufacture car parts mainly for Volkswagen and its many subsidiaries at the site. The company intends to hire 1,000 people to run the new 15,000 sqm facility. Construction is expected to take six months.
