Visionary in Prague 7 earns Gold level WELL certification

Visionary, Skanska's new office building in Prague 7, has been awarded a Gold level WELL Core & Shell Certification, making it the first office building in the Czech Republic to do so. Visionary was developed in conjunction with leading physicians, scientists and industry professionals to combine best practices in design and construction with scientific research. It earned distinction based on seven categories of building performance – Air, Water, Light, Nourishment, Fitness, Comfort and Mind, plus Innovations. Among the features recognized by the certificate are the fact that 85 percent of the regularly occupied spaces in the building receive natural daylight. It also offers numerous locations for sitting, including outdoor terraces and balconies and a running track has been installed on the roof. A kindergarten opened in the building will serve the Prague 7 community as well as some tenants in the building. Visionary won the Green Building Development & Developer prize at last week's HOF Awards 2019.
