The Swiss cloud data storage company Veeam Software is on course to build a development team of 500 programmers in Prague within five years. Martin Štětka, head of its Czech branch, says the company plans to spend CZK 3.4bn assembling what would be its largest development center anywhere in the world. His goal is to hire around 100 programmers per year and that he's already one-fifth of the way there. Veeam's financial situation could be altered soon through new support from its investors. Insight Venture Partners and the Canadian pension fund CPP carried out a $500m cash injection in Veeam in order to allow it to strengthen its hold on the market. Veeam has offices across Europe, including a large one for support staff in Bucharest. In Prague, it's located in Building Art on Argentinska street in Holešovice.
