Tourist complex planned for Majevica Mountain in northern Bosnia

Local entrepreneur Svetozar Ostojic is planning to invest a couple of million euros to develop a new tourist complex on Majevica Mountain in Lopari, northern Bosnia. The first phase of construction, to cost an estimated €2m, will include a 20-room motel, a restaurant that can accommodate 500 diners and a couple of bungalows. The complex will also feature a sports fields, ski slopes, paths for walkers and cyclists and several artificial lakes. The City of Bijeljina will provide €50,000 for the construction of surrounding roads. Lopari and Tuzla will also provide funding.
