Timisoara City Hall invests EUR 23 million in a stadium with over 10,000 seats

Timisoara City Hall started the construction project of the "Heroes of Timisoara" stadium, which will have an area of over 10,000 sqm and a capacity of 10,101 seats in the stands, an investment of EUR 23.1 million, financed from the local budget of the municipality . The stadium will also be able to host international competitions, according to a press release from the Timisoara town hall.

On the surface of almost 53,000 sqm, the Timişoara city hall will set up a parking lot with over 430 spaces, as well as a park-type green area with free access, equipped with urban furniture, outdoor lighting and equipped with play equipment for children. At the same time, access roads and pedestrian paths will be set up, including a public square-type pedestrian accessibility area when exiting the stadium premises. The investment is to be completed in a period of 2 years and 3 months.
