THE FIZZ student residence project in Freiburg breaks ground

International Campus recently began construction on a a new student residence called “THE FIZZ Freiburg Mitte” in Freiburg. By 2020, around 340 fully-equipped apartments for students are to be constructed in the Herdern district of the city. The apartments will all have their own kitchenettes, bathrooms and shower. The 15,200 sqm facility will be operate under the brand “THE FIZZ”, offering 350 bicycle stands, 77 parking spaces an underground garage, a reception desk, communal areas, and a green inner courtyard. The general contractor is Schleith GmbH Baugesellschaft from Überlingen. International Campus is the project developer and will later operate the property.
