Residential and commercial developer Terra has nearly completed its newest mixed use project, 16000 Pines Market. Located at the intersection of Pines Boulevard and Dykes Road in Pembroke Pines, the 130,000 square foot scheme is 75 percent pre-leased. Tenants include 24 Hour Fitness, Petsmart, a natural gourmet foods grocer, Gyu Kaku Japanese restaurant, MOD Pizza, Floss Dental and a United States Postal Service branch. Construction of the project is expected to get underway next year, with the opening slated for third quarter 2019.

“Close to 400,000 people live within a five-mile radius of 16000 Pines, and with job growth over the next decade projected at 38 percent, Pembroke Pines’ demographics are attractive to best-in-class retailers and restaurants,” said Rod Castan, president of leasing and management for Courtelis Company, which is leasing the project. “Pembroke Pines provides a family-friendly lifestyle that helps sustain this growth and generate opportunities for successful businesses.”
