Starbucks entering Serbian market

Starbucks is scheduled to open its first store in Serbia this spring. The coffeehouse will be located at the Rajiceva shopping center in central Belgrade. Founded in 1971, the American coffee chain operates 28,218 locations around the world. It opened its first coffeehouse outside the US in Tokyo in 1996. Between 1987 and 2007, it opened on average two new store locations per day.
