SpaceX successfully launches first crew into orbit

After nearly two decades of effort, Elon Musk’s aerospace company, SpaceX, successfully launched its first crew into orbit on Saturday, ushering in a new age of human spaceflight in the US. Astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley lifted off from Florida’s Kennedy Space Center to the International Space Station.
