Sonae Sierra launches drive-in pick-up service in shopping centers

Sonae Sierra has launched a free Drive-In service at the shopping centers it manages in Portugal to enable customers to order items online and collect them without leaving their cars. The new project was signed onto by 143 stores and will be accessed by customers driving to a fixed collection point in the car parks of each Center.

Cristina Santos, Sonae Sierra's asset management director for Portugal and Spain said the company is working with its tenants to develop new sales concepts and methods. Another online application will allow customers to know when increasing numbers of people and cars are converging at the malls, to allow them to manage their visits safely.
