Skanska broke ground on the first phase of its Equilibrium office project in northern Bucharest. Going up in the city’s Barbu Văcărescu-Floreasca area, the first building will offer 20,800 sqm of leasable space on 12 floors as well as 240 parking spots. Completion is scheduled for Q2 2019. The project’s second building will offer 19,000 sqm of space. The developer wants to secure LEED Gold certification for the Equilibrium complex, which will feature innovative sustainable solutions like a screen showing power consumption and electric car chargers.
