Riga airport announces tender for new apron

Riga International Airport is holding a tender for the construction of a new €14.8m apron at the airport. Apron 5 will allow for needed additional space for aircraft parking and maneuvers. Riga airport is the largest and busiest airport in the Baltic. In 2017 more than 6 million passengers passed through its doors, 45 percent of the total number of passengers for the region. The deadline for bidders is November 5.
