Residential prices in Croatia nearing €2,000 per square meter

Residential prices in Croatia continue to grow, with the average price per square meter approaching €2,000 in January. The biggest annual growth was reported in the Dubrovnik area with average prices hitting €3,828, up 14 percent from the previous year. Zadar, Sibenik and Split reported the biggest price increases along the Croatian coast. In Osijek, the average price per square meter was €966, while in Velika Gorica prices averaged €1,226. In Zapresce, the average price per square meter was €1,150. By contrast, cities surrounding Zagreb saw a 35- to 45-percent decrease in prices, according to local news reports.
