Rental and sale prices for homes in in Greece in Q2 2020 stagnated, ending the growth that marked the beginning of the year. In the center of Athens, second quarter prices were practically unchanged from the first three months of 2020. Neo Psichico (increase of 6.01%) and Nea Philadelphia (5.99%) showed the largest increases, but prices in the Polygono-Turkovounia area decreased by 8.58%.

Lease rates have also remained stable, despite expectations that the increased supply of houses would send them down. According to the Spitogatos Property Index (SPI), the highest quarterly lease growth was achieved in Achaea in the northwestern Peloponnese (6.86%) and Ioannina in Epirus (6.72%).
