Property sales fall slightly in Lithuania in September

Property sales in Lithuania in September fell by 9 percent from the previous month. The Lithuanian Register Center reported that 10,330 buildings, premises and land plots were sold in the 30-day period, down 2.5 percent y-o-y. In Vilnius, 937 houses were sold in September, down 10.7 percent m-o-m and 1.3 percent y-o-y. By comparison, apartment sales were up 3.8 percent on August and 9.3 percent y-o-y. Meanwhile, in Kaunas, house sales increased by 3.1 percent m-o-m and 4.7 percent y-o-y.
