Pricing on older flats stabilizing in Czech Republic

The price of older flats in Prague rose 5.7 percent to CZK 87,459 per square meter between March 2018 and March 2019. That's rouhgly CZK 18,700 less than the price of flats coming to the market for the first time, writes Echo.cz. Citing a new study by the Trigema development company, it reports that the most expensive units are to be found in Prague 1, where they cost CZK 152,464. "It's not just the market for new flats that's stabilizing in Prague, but the market for older flats," said Trigema's chairman Marcel Soural. The report puts the supply of older flats on the market at 6,605, which is 11 percent lower than it was a year ago, while the number of new flats that hit the market was 5,400.
