Prague accelerates preparation works on the planned Radlická arterial road, which will connect Prague’s outer ring road with the city’s inner ring road. The 5.5 km artery will lead from the end point of the D5 motorway in Prague 5 - Stodůlky to new crossroad to be built at Prague 5 - Zlíchov. The route will include three tunnels and five interchanges. Subterra is carrying out a geological survey of the route. Deputy Mayor in charge of transport Petr Dolínek says the investment tops Prague’s infrastructure priorities, but gave no time schedule for its completion. The Radlická arterial road should relieve traffic congestion on Radlická, Plzeňská and Strakonická streets in Prague 5.
