The Prague Transport Company (DPP) is apparently considering re-opening the idea of working with developers on the new metro line. A year ago, it looked as if an agreement had been reached with Penta to create a joint venture to speed the process of buying the land necessary for the stations along the planned D line. The idea was for each side to put more than CZK 300m into the JV, which would have a total budget of CZK 6.5bn (15 percent of the estimated cost of building the new line). The thinking now would be to work with a developer on just three stations: Depo Písnice, Písnice and Libuš but it's still unclear whether the city will have to hold a new tender to decide who to work with or whether it will simply return to the idea of working with Penta. DPP has already been given the green light to buy an operational building at the Krč railroad station in conunction with the construction of the Krč metro station, where the D line's control headquarters is to be located.
