Residential rents in Prague rose three percent last year to CZK 340 per sqm, an overall life of 20 percent over the past two years. The Czech News Agency reports that rent jumped 11.4 percent in Prague 7, while falling slightly in Prague's 2 and 3. Tenants will pay the most in the center, unsurprisingly, with the average price per square meter now at CZK 433. This falls to just CZK 299 in Prague 9. The number of flats available for renting fell 15 percent in 2018 to 6,234.
