Portugal's flagship airline TAP has published its flight plan for the next two months, shows that it will be offering just 27 weekly flights in June. But this figure will to 247 in July, with the majority of them originating in Lisbon. TAP has gradually been adding flights this month to new destinations as restrictions on airlines are lifted, including flights to London, Paris, Santa Paulo and a weekly connection with Rio de Janeiro. As of the end of May, TAP was offering 18 flights per week. Intercontinental flights will begin to ramp up in June, with twice weekly service to Newark, to Luanda and toe Maputo. Although TAP's schedule in July will be busier, it won't come close to matching the 3,000 flights per week it was operating before the pandemic.
