The investor Plava Laguna is planning to open four tourist resorts this summer along the Croatian coastline. The new resorts, located in Umag and Porec, represent an investment of around €67.4m and are being built to four-star and four-star-plus standards. The work is employing roughly 750 people. Park Resort in Porec required an investment of €35m, with the first guests expected to arrive in July. It will offer 309 units, including suites, garden suites and villas along with children's pools, water attractions and entertainment. In Umag, the company invested €4.7m and will offer 54 accommodation units in the Garden Suites & Rooms Sol Umag complex. Plava Laguna also invested €11.2m next to this resort in a new campsite called Stella Maris offering 630 accommodation units.
