Pepco opening first store in Bulgaria this week

Pepco will open its first store in Bulgaria this week in Plovdiv, followed by 15 other locations across the country over the next six months. By the end of 2021, the Polish retailer intends to have a network of 70 stores in Bulgaria and employ 500 people. The next openings are planned for Sofia, Varna, Ruse, Dobrich, Pazardzhik and Burgas. The company sells clothing and household goods. It operates around 1,600 stores around the CEE region.
