Penta Real Estate has secured planning permission for the redevelopment of the Nusle brewery complex, where it plans to build a new residential district for 1,000 people. If all goes to plan, Penta will also have the building permit for the project as it's collected almost all of the needed approvals. In any case, it will begin sales of the flats this fall. Once construction begins, the project is scheduled to complete within roughly two years. According to Hospodarske noviny, Penta held a tender for a design to guide the reconstruction of the historic portion of the brewery which was won by CMC architects, led by the architect David Chisholm. Chisholm was behind the award-winning reconstruction of the Holesovice brewery into loft apartments. There's no final verdict on the price of the new flats being planned, but the company's development Rudolf Vacek said they would not go for less than CZK 100,000 per square meter.
