Renovation of the Paris Udvar Hotel Budapest has entered the final phase of work, with the opening expected to take place this month, according to the Budapest Business Journal. The hotel will operate as part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Work on the reconstruction started more than four years ago, with the job having been entrusted to Parizs Property Kft. It's the first Hyatt hotel in the country and will have 110 rooms, 18 luxury suites and four meeting rooms over 300 sqm for 160 people. “We are proud to open this remarkable and iconic property to travelers looking for an unforgettable experience,” Tamás Fazekas, General Manager of Párisi Udvar Hotel Budapest, told BBJ. “The hotel represents Hungary’s impressive architecture and craftsmanship; a place which residents and tourists have treasured for decades.” In other hotel news, the Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Center opened near St Stephan’s Basilica. The 214 room hotel is equipped with a restaurant and bar as well as a business and fitness center.
