Hungarian OTP Bank is considering whether to acquire a majority share in Mobiasbanca in Moldova from Societe Generale. According to Moldavian media, a preliminary contract could be signed in a matter of days. Societe Generale owns 67.85 percent in Mobiasbanca, while Romanian-based BRD bank has 20 percent and the EBRD holds 8.84 percent.
