The NUMA Group, Europe's leading operator of a fully digitalised hospitality platform, is expanding into the UK market. With its first property in London, the NUMA Group has partnered with New World Hospitality Group to continue its strong growth in Europe. With the launch in the UK, the NUMA Group is now present in 15 European countries and 33 European cities with more than 5,850 units. NUMA is focused on lively districts in European hotspots appealing to tourists and business travellers.

In keeping with its current expansion strategy, NUMA has kicked off its launch in the UK with the opening of the NUMA Bloom in one of the best locations in the city centre of London. The new NUMA Bloom will take over the former Bedford Corner Hotel at 11-13 Bailey Street in the heart of Bloomsbury, in a deal advised by the Knight Frank Hotel Brokerage team. The Georgian style building with modern interiors is a perfect fit for the NUMA brand. NUMA Bloom is close to the famous Oxford Street and Regents Street as well as major attractions like the British Museum, Leicester Square and Covent Garden. The new NUMA is also well served by public transport with Tottenham Court station being conveniently located just a few minutes away.

The hotel will be upgraded to integrate NUMA technologies, allowing guests to use their smartphones to check in, check out, open their room doors and communicate with NUMA’s 24h digital guest service team.

"We are thrilled to announce our expansion into the UK and our first property in London. As Europe's most popular tourist destination and with a population of almost 9 million, this cosmopolitan city could not be a better fit for the NUMA success model. With the launch in London Bloomsbury, we have taken another decisive step towards being present in all European metropolises," explains Philipp Rohweder, Director Real Estate of the NUMA Group.

Dimitri Chandogin, President of the NUMA Group, adds: "As Europe's leading provider of high-quality digital accommodation, we are delighted to be entering the UK market and are well prepared to further expand our portfolio in London and the UK. In the long term, we plan to be present in all major UK cities. We are actively looking for suitable properties in prime locations such as Brighton, Manchester, Bristol, Belfast, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Not only are we creating a new generation of accommodation for the modern traveller, but we are innovating the entire industry in the UK.”

“We are delighted to have acted for Philipp and the NUMA team on their first hotel in London. NUMA provides landlords with an established and credible operator and we are looking forward to see the further rollout of hotels across the UK”. Henry Jackson, Head of Hotel Brokerage, Knight Frank LLP.

“We are pleased to partner with such a dynamic team and to assist with Numa’s growth into such an important city and location by opening its first doors in the UK," commented NWH Group.
