The Barbu Vacarescu-Floreasca-Pipera area in northern Bucharest has increasing become a hot location for residential development, according to a recent survey conducted by Camino.

While the city’s Aviatiei and Barbu Vacarescu neighborhoods attract developments for the medium and medium-plus segments, projects in Floreasca, offering larger surfaces and premium finishes, are geared toward the luxury segment. There are currently 15 projects in various stages of construction.

Developers Impact, Opus Land and One United have announced plans to build new projects on Barbu Vacarescu Boulevard. The Barbu Văcărescu neighborhood has seen the most demand, with buyers willing to pay up to €1,250/sqm for studios and two-room flats and up to €150,000 for 3-bedroom apartments, according to Camino.
