Hrvatska Elektroprivreda (HEP) is building a 58 MW wind farm located 8 km northwest of Benkovac in southern Croatia. The investment is valued at around €80m. The new wind farm, Korlat, will include 18 wind turbines and is expected to produce 170 GW annually, providing power to about 55,000 households. Nordex will oversee construction. The wind farm is scheduled to start operating in August 2020.
